🎓 Eligibility Criteria for SSB Constable Recruitment 2026 (Post-wise)
Constable (Veterinary):
> 10th Class (Matric) pass with Science as main subject from a recognized Board.
> Must have minimum 1 year experience in treatment of different species of animals in a recognized Veterinary Hospital.
Constable (Driver) (Only for Male):
> 10th Class (Matric) pass from a recognized Board.
> Must possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
Constable (Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter):
> Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.
> Must have any one of the following:
• Two years work experience in respective trade; OR
• One year certificate course from recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade; OR
• Two years Diploma from recognized ITI in the trade or similar trade.
> Must qualify Trade Test.
> Multi-skilled candidates will be given preference.
Constable (Carpenter):
> Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.
> Must have any one of the following:
• Two years work experience in carpenter trade; OR
• One year certificate course from ITI or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience; OR
• Two years Diploma from recognized ITI in carpenter trade or similar trade.
> Must qualify Trade Test.
Constable (Nursing Orderly):
> 10th Class pass from a recognized Board.
> Must have First Aid Certificate course from St. John’s Ambulance Association or Red Cross Society of India.
> Must have minimum 1 year experience as Nursing Orderly in a recognized Hospital (minimum 50 beds).
