📝 Selection Procedure
1. Written Examination (MCQ Based)
The written examination will be conducted in Objective (Multiple Choice Questions) mode carrying a total of 80 marks. The subject-wise distribution is as follows:
• Mathematics (Class X Level) – 10 Marks
• Conventional Survey – 50 Marks
• Modern Survey – 20 Marks
Each question will carry 1 mark and there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks category-wise to proceed to the next stage.
2. Skill Test (Computer Proficiency Test)
Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for a Skill Test carrying 20 marks. This test is practical in nature and will assess:
• Assamese/Bengali Unicode typing
• Basic computer operations
• Document preparation and formatting
• Data entry skills
• File handling and printing
Candidates must bring original documents at the time of skill test for verification.
3. Document Verification
All shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification where they must produce original documents including:
• Educational Certificates and Mark Sheets
• RCCC Certificate
• Age Proof (HSLC Admit Card/Certificate)
• Caste/PwD Certificate (if applicable)
• Other supporting documents as claimed
4. Final Merit List
The final selection will be based on the combined performance in:
• Written Examination (80 Marks)
• Skill Test (20 Marks)
Candidates must also meet the minimum qualifying marks:
• UR Category: Written – 32 Marks, Skill Test – 8 Marks
• Reserved Categories: Written – 24 Marks, Skill Test – 6 Marks
